| Origin | |
| Convinced that Robert Louis Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was more than a work of fiction, Dr. Calvin Zabo dedicated himself to the secrets of human transformation. He financed his experiments by embezzling from his clients, and always avoided to stay one step ahead of the law, but he began to earn a reputation in the medical community as someone not to be trusted. When Zabo applied for a position under Dr. Donald Blake (Thor), his rejection engendered a desire for retribution. Dedicating himself exclusively to his quest he found an engine for revenge against those he felt had wronged Dr. Calvin Zabo, as the monstrous Mr. Hyde. |
