| Origin | |
| Whitney Frost was raised
as a New York socialite by wealthy financier Byron Frost. When Byron
Frost died, Whitney learned that she was adopted and her biological father
is Count Nefaria,
the head of the Maggia criminal organization. Frost was manipulated into becoming Nefaria's heir, assuming control of the Maggia when Count Nefaria was imprisoned. Following a disastrous raid on Stark Industries' headquarters, Frost's face was cruelly disfigured and she adopted the golden visage of Madame Masque. |
