battle around the world. One of Bushman's subordinates was former

Dr. Peter Alraune, the lead archeologist, attempted to stop the mercenary lord, but was foiled by Spector. To Spector's astonishment Bushman brutally murdered the subdued archaeologist. When Spector protested Bushman's brutality he was knocked unconscious and left in the dessert to die. Staggering towards civilization, Spector collapsed a short distance from the archaeological site. Discovered by adherents of an ancient Egyptian religion, his dead body was lay before the statue of the moon god Khonshu. Resurrected, Spector became the moon god's agent of vengeance known as the Moon Knight. |
