| Origin | |
| Thomas Cassidy lost his

his younger cousin Sean Cassidy (Banshee). Turning to a life of crime for the thrills, Cassidy discovered he could become wealthy as a mercenary. While in a third-world jail he met fellow mercenary Cain Marko (Juggernaut) and fostered a long-term friendship. Using his mutation to engineer a jail break the two mercenaries escaped, but would eventually use their superhuman powers to team as the Juggernaut and Black Tom. |
