genetically
engineered alien designed to be the ultimate conqueror, Devlos Ungol
swore to eradicate
the only force to give pause to his brutal conquests, after his defeat at
the hands of Green Lantern, Starkaor. Battling Starkaor's heir Abin Sur on Earth during the late 1800's in the American South-West, he was defeated and trapped within the heroes Power Ring. He would return almost a century later to battle Abin Sur's heir, Hal Jordan and his ally Ray Palmer, the Atom, only to face defeat once more by being plunged into the Sun. In the later part of the 20th Century he would return after the sun was briefly extinguished, to once again challenge a Green Lantern, Kyle Rayner. Defeated and imprisoned on a planet he ruined, it may only be a matter of decades before the return of the Traitor. |
