Origin
Helmut Streicher battled and was defeated by the golden-age Flash and Green Lantern during World War II. Using a device to scan into the future he learned that the Nazis lose the war. Donning the Red Panzer armor he plans to foil the Normandy Invasion but travels too far into the future arriving on an alternate Earth. Battling Wonder Woman his device pulls him back to his own time and dimension were he is challenged by the Amazon Princess and her Earth-2 counterpart Wonder Woman Although Streicher was relegated to the annals of history, his armor lived on to be worn by other racists. The next man to don the armor had a short career of villainy, but his son would adopt the role in a quest of vengeance when he discovered his father had died battling Wonder Woman and Troia. Joining with Vandal Savage's group known as Tartarus the Red Panzer was killed by the leader of the H.I.V.E. From the ranks of the H.I.V.E. another adherent was recruited to don the armor of the Red Panzer.
