Origin
The daughter of the one-time agent of Superboy, Rex Leech, Roxy Leech became infatuated with the Kid of Steel. Her love of Superboy encouraged her to take the risk of death to save his live by donating her DNA to cure him of genetic disease. After a successful surgery the pair agreed that due to their genetic similarity they would have to be more like brother and sister. When Leech fell ill, she was possessed for a time by an un-named extraterrestrial being of pure energy, converting her into the menace called Pyra.
