Pernisius
is a ruthless land baron on the planet Rimbor, owning almost half of the
planet's land mass but wanting more and more power. After the
explosive shattering of the Rock of Eternity, Pernisius' aide, Dr Deacon,
exposed him to the effects of the Eternium fragments which gave him
incredible power. Becoming powerful enough to actually
pose a threat to the entire universe,
Thunder
and the
Legion confronted him and were only able to defeat him once they,
themselves were exposed to the power of the Eternium. Dr Deacon was
revealed to be a robot sent by the terrorists who destroyed the Rock of
Eternity and Pernisius was imprisoned.
