Origin
The illegitimate son of a philandering princess, Nao Yut was condemned by his grandmother to the mercy of the elements to keep the adultery a secret.  The baby was found being nursed by a tiger by the cuckold prince.  The princess and her mother were banished and the prince named the child Nao Yu T'u – "suckled by a tigress".

Seeking vengeance, the child's grandmother sought aid from the forces of darkness to kill the prince and Nao Yut.  Six demons attacked Nao Yut, but they were trapped within an armor by his ally the Blacksmith.  Confronting his grandmother, Nao Yut discovered that she was protected from harm by man so he transformed into a tiger and dealt a fatal bite.  Unknown to the young warrior the witch's blood was poison and he died with his soul being trapped between the realms of the living and the dead - awaiting an opportunity to escape.
