| A
decade before his death an un-named French scientist experimented upon a
gorilla that was stronger, more agile and intelligent than most
gorillas. Through teaching, aversion techniques and genetic
manipulation the gorilla achieved the genius level intelligence of a
human, and speech capabilities. The scientist dubbed his creation,
Monsieur Mallah. After the scientist's death, the
gorilla followed express instructions to remove the scientist's brain,
encasing it within a life preserving receptacle connected to a vast
computer network. The scientist was now known only as the
Brain.
The Brain and his assistant organized
a group of terrorist, bent on conquering the world, known as the
Brotherhood
of Evil, which would time-and-again unsuccessfully challenge the
mis-fit group of heroes known as the
Doom
Patrol. |
