| Origin | |
| The criminal known as Copperhead first appeared in Gotham City, wearing a bulletproof, slippery snake costume to commit a series of thefts. After his incarceration he later reappeared as an assassin who suffocated his victims to death by constriction. It was after selling his soul to the demon Neron that he obtained the true powers of a snake. |
