| Origin | |
| As a young petty criminal
Amos Fortune was obsessed with luck - good, bad, how it can run hot
or cold. When he became an adult he delved into the pseudo-science of
chance and came to believe the human body possessed "luck glands" that
influenced the outside world for good or ill every day. Using this
knowledge he became a professional criminal challenging the
Justice League. After several defeats, Fortune formed the Royal Flush Gang to once again challenge the Justice League, but due to his subsequent defeats its evident he doesn't understand the science of luck as much as he believes. |
