In a
distant time and a distant galaxy a
group of scientists on the planet Arus created a mighty robot as the
ultimate defense. After countless defeats by the robot, King Zarkon instructed his witch Haggar to devise a plan to defeat the galaxy defender. Disguised as a goddess in distress, Haggar cursed Voltron, splitting the robot into five lions, which went into hibernation. After the ages a band of space explorers discovered the five sleeping lions and reformed the once mighty robot to challenge the tyrannical rule of King Zarkon as Voltron: Defender of the Universe. |
