| Origin | |
| Although little is known of the sisters called the Stepford Cuckoos, their history at the Xavier Institute has been a tragic one. Of the initial five siblings only three remain after a betrayal by one of their own, Esme, when she attempted to usurp the other girls' group mind - an act which lead her to kill her sister Sophie, who resisted. Ultimately Esme would also die when she betrayed an unknown imposter of the mutant terrorist Magneto - now leaving only the three remaining siblings. |
