At one time Elektro,
Fin Fang Foom, Googam & Gorgilla were four of Earth's greatest monster
menaces, until they were captured by the
Fantastic Four and incarcerated on Monster Island. Through the
efforts of Fin Fang Foom's legal challenges the court granted an
experimental parole. Their physical stature reduced via molecular
compaction and post-hypnotic suggestions applied to neutralize their powers
the former giant monsters were released into society. Mostly gainfully employed at the Baxter Building it wasn't until the youngest of the quartet Googam "Son of Goom" was deceived by Tim Boo Ba into believing he was releasing his father from a dimensional prison, but instead Googam opened a portal from which the toad tyrant and his army emerged. Not wanting to be re-incarcerated on Monster Island, Fin Fang Foom assumed leadership and formed an ad-hoc group unofficially known as Fin Fang Four. |
