| Creator | |

| Origin | |
| Over half a century ago F.B.I. agent
Jimmy Woo
recruited a team of superhuman heroes to rescue President Eisenhower from
the Golden Claw, a villainous mandarin derisively labeled the "Yellow Claw."
After a short stint under team name Avengers, the team was disbanded by a
paranoid United States government. After much time the team was once again formed to stop the machinations of the Golden Claw, only to discover that they had been manipulated by the ancient mandarin as a test to prepare Woo to become his successor as the Khan of the Eternal Empire. With the vast resources of the Atlas Foundation and the support of his superhuman allies, Woo formalized their status as the Agents of Atlas. |
