| Origin | |
|
Pre-Crisis At one point or anther almost every major villain from both Earths One and Two had been members of the Secret Society of Super-Villains. The team was initially organized by a clone of Paul Kirk (Manhunter II) by the despotic Darkseid to pave a takeover of Earth. In the end Darkseid's minions rebelled and attempted to rule the Earth themselves. Post-Crisis After it was revealed that the Justice League mystically lobotomized Dr. Light, a group of elite superhuman criminals created a "society" to both unify and offer protection to other criminals. Their offer is simple, either join or die by the hands of the Secret Society of Super-Villains. |
