Designed to strike fear into the hearts of the Axis fighting forces during World War II, three soldiers were physically altered to become resemble creatures that would illicit terror. Warren Griffith was given the ability to change into a werewolf, Pvt. Elliot "Lucky" Taylor after surviving an explosion was stitched back together like a Frankenstein monster and Sgt. Vincent Velcoro was given the ability to morph into a bat, but required human blood to survive. Lead by Lt. Matthew Shrieve the fearsome trio struck terror into the heart of the enemies of freedom and democracy as the Creature Commandos.
