an interagency covert intelligence taskforce lead by Valentina Vostok
(Negative Woman), the agency evolved into a group designed to perform task
considered vital to the safety and interest of the U.S. Government. Structured in a hierarchy resembling the pieces on a chessboard, the top agents are the Queen and King, who give orders to their Bishops, who in turn supervise their field directors known as Rooks who give orders to the Knights and Pawns that keep threats to national security in a state of Checkmate. |
