Built by eccentric Kentucky Senator Sandefield from purely native materials, he swore that no one but a pure-bred Kentuckian would ever reside there.

After his wife went insane the senator sold the home, but none of the subsequent owners were of pure Kentucky stock and all fled.  The last owner attempted to move the home out of state, but it broke free of its trailer and forced the new owner over a cliff before settling beside a cemetery less than 200 yards from the state line, near another home known as the House of Mystery.

Modern-Age

The House of Secrets is a manor haunted by the Juris, who summon those concealing secrets, judging them, and rendering sentence based upon their crimes.  Rape, murder, incest, or simple dishonesty at a crucial moment - to the Juris, these are all punishable offenses.

When the abandoned house is occupied by runaway Rain Harper, she became the unwilling witness to the Juris' trials and validates their verdicts either condemning souls to the House's infernal basement or setting them free to live their lives, purged of the secrets that plagued them.
