| After her mother is killed
in a violent riot in the city of Caracas, Sofia Mantega is sent to her
wealthy father in America - who never knew she existed. A cold man he
insist that she never disturb or embarrass him, and never use her mutant
powers. Upset after her father forgets her sixteenth birthday, Mantega uses her powers to wreak the inside of one of her father's grocery stores. When news of the girl's arrest reaches Daniel Moonstar (Mirage II), she obtains the begrudging permission of Mantega's father to let her join the Xavier Institute as the Wind Dancer. |
