Warlock, the artificial being created by the scientific complex called the
Beehive, was originally known only as Him. The scientists' goal was to
create the ultimate human in a bid for world domination, but they had
created something that was beyond their ability to control.
Realizing the evil intent of the Beehive scientists, Him would assist
the
Fantastic Four in defeating their plans. The artificial being would leave
Earth to encounter many wondrous beings, and learn many hard lessons, occasionally
at the cost of his life. One being he would encounter was his mentor
the High Evolutionary, who would empower him with the Soul Gem, giving him
the power of a god known as Warlock. |
