Eric Kevin Masterson lived an uneventful life before meeting the hero
Thor.
After an attack by the villainous Mongoose, Masterson was mortally
wounded. To save his friend's life, Thor had Odin merge he and the
mortal into one being. For sometime Masterson was the mortal face of
Thor. Eventually Masterson was separated from the thunder god, who was sent into exile. Masterson was granted possession of Mjolnir and assumed the name of Thor. When Thor returned from exile and reclaimed Mjolnir, and Masterson was granted a new mystical hammer by the lord of the Norse gods, Odin. Before his untimely death at the hands of Bloodaxe, Masterson would battle evil in the identity of Thunderstrike. |
