| Origin | |
| Born into wealth and privilege Dwayne Michael Taylor's family had a dark and shadowy past which lead to their murders at the initiative of their advisor, a mystic known as Tai. Tai used her abilities to twist Taylor's memories of his parents' death to manipulate him into becoming a vigilante - with the goal of having him befriend superhumans which she could use as a sacrifice to control a dimensional breach known as the Well of All Things. Recruiting other heroes, Taylor used his fortune to fund the New Warriors as their leader Night Thrasher. |
