Rankin was born into a life of poverty and anger that lead to a criminal
career and membership in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants as
Mimic. Given a second chance and recruited by Professor Charles Xavier into the X-Men, Rankin became a hero. Unfortunately his arrogance lead to the kidnapping of Senator Kelly, which lead to massacre and his sentence to death row, a mistake he strives to make amends for as a member of the Exiles. |
