In the 1930's astrophysicist Horace Grayson departed from Earth with his infant son, Robert, using a rocket created with technology from the Eternal colony of Uranus.  Finding a home among the technologically advanced Uranians, the young Robert learned knowledge and skills which would allow him to battle evil both on Earth and in space as Marvel Boy.
