Origin

At a crossroads in his life Peter Parker resolves to end his career as Spider-Man.  Having developed a serum intended to counter any dangerous side-effects of his radioactive blood, Parker ingest the serum with the intent of returning to the life of a normal person and marrying his college girlfriend Gwen Stacy; but instead of removing his radioactive-arachnid powers he becomes even more spider-like spouting four additional appendages turning him into a Man-Spider.
