repeated criminal offenses Jonathan Garrett somehow became an agent
of
S.H.I.E.L.D. and his past records were clandestinely expunged.
Following injuries in the line of service Garrett received a steel plate in
his head and a cybernetic left hand. Partnered with the psychotic
agent Arthur Perry, Garrett was sent to San Concepcion to investigate the
assassination of the country's leader by then ninja
Elektra - who left the two agents to die in an explosion. Recovered by S.H.I.E.L.D., Garrett was further augmented to the point where he was now more machine than man. Eventually allying with the woman who once tried to kill him Garrett helped Elektra defeat the ninja clan known as the Hand and their demonic leader known as the Beast. |
