Nathaniel Richards
met
Kang, the man he would

the only heroes existed who had ever challenged and bested the conqueror -
the
Avengers. When Richards arrived in the past he found the Avengers had disassembled. Knowing that his future self would eventually track him through time, Richards assembled a team of young heroes capable of challenging Kang. Although uncertain in his own powers he used the futuristic technology supplied by Kang and assumed the identity of the team's leader - Iron Lad. |
