Origin
Poppupians evolved upon a particularly harsh planet and as a result became nearly invincible through the ability to molecularly transform into any form.

In time the Poppupians abilities made them a carefree and eventually bored species.  One member of their race took it upon himself to explore the universe to alleviate the boredom.  Happening upon Earth he discovered a planet which offered great amusement potential.  Inadvertently his abilities endangered humans which attracted the Fantastic Four who dubbed the alien prankster the Impossible Man.
