| Origin | |
| Desiring to give more to
the world Ezekiel Sims engaged in an arcane
South American blood ritual which granted him arachnid powers.
The ceremony diverted magicks which were not intended for him and attracted
mystical forces of opposition. Pretending to be an ally of Peter
Parker, Ezekiel
sought to divert his enemies onto
Spider-Man. After Spider-Man successfully repelled countless supernatural attacks, Ezekiel knew that he would personally have to sacrifice Parker to the mystical forces in order to save himself. Physically defeating Spider-Man, Ezekiel ultimately could not defeat his most power asset - his soul. Realizing that he squandered his abilities Ezekiel ultimately atoned by saving Spider-Man and sacrificing himself to the forces which gave him his powers. |
