| Origin | |
| Convinced to join Donald
Pierce’s newest incarnation of the Reavers - a band of disaffected youth who
hate mutants - Joshua Foley discovers that he is one of the "freaks" he so
despises for their abilities. After an altercation between the New Mutants and the Reavers, Foley uses his healing powers to save the life of Laurie Collins (Wallflower) after she is stabbed. Later Foley is attacked near his home by the same group he wanted to originally join - while his parents look on not bothering to help. Left with no other solution he accepts membership in the Xavier Institute as the healer called Elixer. |
