| Origin | |
| During the Sino-Japanese
War, pacifist newspaper reporter Mark Todd was caught in a Japanese
artillery barrage. Taking refuge in a cave he discovered a mysterious
cult known as the Skull Men - who believed Todd to be a champion for freedom
chosen by the "Force of Destiny." Schooling Todd in
their mystical abilities he mastered an invulnerability to fire.
Returning to civilization he donned a fiery skull mask to battle against the
scourge of the Nazi Third Reich. In time Todd mastered other skills taught by the Skull Men and gained great mystic powers and physical strength. Able to turn his flesh invisible and crown his head in flame Todd no longer needed a mask to hide his identity as the Blazing Skull. |
