| Origin | ||
| The mystical Ebony Blade has been handed down to honorable knights for several generations, driving its wielders mad with a murderous rage; seven generations until King Arthur's cousin Sir Reginald succumbed and the sword was passed to Sir Percy of Scandia - who although strong-willed would also eventually succumb. Fearing the influence of the Ebony Sword upon those that wielded it, the weapon was buried with the body of Sir Percy beneath his castle. Subsequent generations of Black Knights continued without use of the sword until the castle was inherited by an American ancestor of Sir Percy, Dane Garrett Whitman; who would time and again battle against both evil and the curse of the Ebony Sword to carry on the legacy of the Black Knight. | ||
