Jeanne-Marie Beaubier
was
orphaned and separated from her twin brother
Jean-Paul as an infant. Raised by strict nuns in an orphanage, Beaubier was miserable and attempted suicide by jumping from the orphanage roof only to discover she could fly. Thinking it a miracle from God, Beaubier told the orphanage headmistress and was punished for her blasphemies. Repeated beating and punishments created multiple personality disorder in the teenaged Beaubier. After graduating college, Beaubier returned to the orphanage of her youth to serve as a teacher. During the day she was a prim-and-proper teacher, but at night another personality emerges, the avenging hero known as Aurora. |
