| Origin | |
| As a child Sheena Rivington was brought to Africa by her explorer father, Cardwell Rivington. Befriending a tribal witchdoctor named Koba, the elder Rivington taught the native mage English and about the western world. When Rivington prepared to leave the jungle, Koba concocted a magic potion to compel the explorer to stay, but it accidentally poisoned his friend - killing him. Distraught, Koba adopted Rivington's daughter and raised her to understand the ways of the natural world. Sheena grew to become a strong, brave and beautiful protector of her adopted land as the Queen of the Jungle. |
