| Origin | |
| Because of his girth most people are surprised that Marvin Hinton's first passion was to become a world-class chef. Working as a bar bouncer to earn money to attend the Ritz Escoffier School in Paris, Hinton was convinced by an Army recruiter that the military would train him as a chef if he enlisted. To his dismay Hinton found the Army's idea of cuisine repulsive and eventually tuned his skills toward the infantry becoming proficient with the Browning 50 Caliber Machinegun, a weapon intended to be mounted upon a tank but handled with deft by the burley sergeant codenamed Roadblock. | |
