heir to the empire of Throneworld, Prince Gavyn was passed over for the
throne in favor of his sister Clryssa. As was custom of all heirs
not chosen he was ceremoniously executed by being released into space
unprotected, to avoid the possibility of civil war. Unknown to his people, he miraculously survived the vacuum of space to be discovered by a wandering elder called Mn'torr. Realizing Gavyn possessed unusual latent abilities Mn'torr provided the prince with gauntlets which focused his stellar energies. Although denied the throne, Gavyn swore to protect the empire as the space-faring Starman. |
