Origin
Binding her breasts to disguise herself as a young boy, "Justin" was the knight's errand of the Sir Galahad.  On the eve of the final battle against the enemy of Avalon, Justin begged her master to honor her with knighthood.  Granting her with she was dubbed the Shining Knight.

The remaining Knights of the Broken Table stood at the gates of Camelot against the invading hordes of the Sheeda - a race from the far unspeakable land of the vampire sun.  Within the Catacombs of Oethanoeth beneath the Castle Revolving, Sir Justin and her mystical horse Vanguard sought the Undry - an inexhaustible cauldron capable of healing the wounded and bringing life to the dead.  Challenging Gloriana Tenebrae, the Queen of Terror, Justin reclaims Caliburn - the sword of King Arthur.  Using the mystic sword, she clove the witch in twain and cast the Undry into a well of time to prevent the Queen of Terror from using it to regenerate.

Retreating from the Castle Revolving, Justin was betrayed by a duplicitous changeling. Doomed to die by the wound of a poisonous dagger, Justin was rescued by Vanguard, and the horse plunged into the well of time to retrieve the Undry, only to emerge into the chaotic world of modern Los Angeles.
