with being abandoned by his parents at a young age to an orphanage, Eel
O'Brian fell in with the wrong crowd eventually turning to a life of
crime. During an attempted robbery of Crawford Chemicals, O'Brian was shot by a guard, and accidentally knocked over several vats of chemicals, resulting in the mixture soaking into his wound. Abandoned by his cohorts, O'Brian escaped making his way into the mountainside wilderness. Discovered by an aged monk, he awoke in the Rest Haven resort. Turning away the police, the monk believed the criminal could be reformed. O'Brian decided to mend his corrupt ways and discovered he had gained incredible powers from the chemical spill. O'Brian would atone for his criminal past by using his powers to fight crime as Plastic Man. |
