| Origin | |
| The only child of Bruce
Wayne (Batman)
and Selina Kyle (Catwoman),
Selina Wayne matured in a quiet household after the semi-retirement of
her father as a hero and the reformation of her mother from a life of crime.
From birth she was trained to an extraordinary peak of physical and mental
development, not because her parents had aspirations for her to follow in
their footsteps, but because they believed it made her a better person. Completing law school at an age when most people were just graduating college, Wayne was about to begin her career when tragedy struck. A former associate of Selina Kyle's, when she was the criminal Catwoman, blackmailed her into one last crime. During the commission of the crime Batman's intervention lead to Catwoman being struck by a fatal bullet. Crestfallen, the Dark Knight swore to forgo his crime fighting career and burned his costume at the grave of his now-dead wife. Vowing revenge, Helena Wayne swore and oath to avenge her mother's death as the Huntress. |
