| Origin | |
| Roy Lincoln was a
scientist working with his father on a chemical explosive called "27-QRX."
When Nazis invaded his lab and killed his father, Lincoln resorted to
ingesting the only sample to keep it out of enemy hands. The volatile
chemical had an unusual reaction with his body, giving him the ability to
create explosions with a mere touch and transforming him into a Human
Bomb. Decades later, scientist Andy Franklin was a ground zero when the Secret Society of Super-Villains dropped the radioactive monster Chemo upon the city of Blüdhaven. The agency known as S.H.A.D.E. kept Franklin in custody until they were able to harness the power of a Human Bomb. |
