research scientist Jay Garrick accidentally spilled a combination of
chemicals and he was rendered unconscious by the fumes. Found
several hours later he was rushed to the hospital. Released from the hospital, Garrick discovered he had the power of super speed. After reading news of costumed mystery-men, Garrick was inspired to battle crime as the Flash. |
