movie shoot in Africa, actress Rita Farr accidentally inhaled strange
volcanic gases. Ill for days, Farr began to erratically grow to
gigantic or shrink to a tiny size. Overwhelmed by shame and fear she
gave up her career and went into hiding. Enlisted by Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief) to join his Doom Patrol, Farr learned how to control her abilities and once again became famous as the size-changing, stretching Elasti-Girl. |
