archeologist Adam Strange was fleeing for his life from a band of South
American savages when he suddenly found himself on the surface of an alien
planet Rann. The inhabitants of Rann were
suffering from genetic entropy and needed similar beings to save the fate
of the species.
Strange was hit by a Zeta Beam
which instantly transported him 4.5 light-years to Rann, but the rays
effects dissipated and he would be beamed back to Earth. He had to
calculate where the beam would next strike Earth to return to his adopted
planet. In time the beams effect became permanent and Strange made
Rann his home. |
