| Izaya the Inheritor was a
warrior and one of the leaders of New Genesis. When Darkseid and
Steppenwolf came to New Genesis from the planet
Apokolips for a hunting excursion, Steppenwolf attacked Izaya and his
wife Avia. His wife dead, Izaya swore vengeance and sparked a war
between the two planets. Revenging himself with the death of Steppenwolf, Izaya toured the devastation in the wake of the war and forsook violence. Wandering the ravaged planet of New Genesis in search of his true purpose Izaya found a mysterious wall, making contact with the omnipotent Source. Forming a pact with, Darkseid, the leader of Apokolips, Izaya earned the title of Highfather. |
