What Happened
In a plan to finally cure the Clown Prince of Crime of his homicidal mania, a psychiatrist deceives the Joker into believing that the criminal is living on borrowed time due to a terminal brain tumor.

Determined to go out with a bang the Joker concocts a venom designed to "jokerize" anyone, making them as insane as he.  Starting with super-powered criminals at the maximum security prison known as the Slab, the Joker begins a reign of terror that will affect the entire DC universe and warrant the attention of the newly elected President Lex Luthor.
