The secretary for the law partnership Nelson and Murdock, Karen Page was courted by attorneys Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock (Daredevil).  Eventually Murdock won her heart and the two dated for a number of years and resulted in him revealing his masked identity.

Due to strain in their relationship caused by Murdock's crime-fighting career Karen moved from New York to pursue a career as an actress.  Unfortunately Karen's acting career did not turn the way she would have desire and she became a porn star and heroine addict, an addiction that lead to her betraying her former love.

Desperate for heroin, Karen sold Murdock's secret identity to her dealer, information which eventually made its way to his greatest enemy the mobster known as the Kingpin.  The crime boss used the information to strike at Murdock through his personal and professional life.

When Karen returned to Matt's life she revealed her betrayal and he forgave her.  Eventually they reconciled and had an on-again off-again relationship, but tragedy struck again when Karen discovered she had contracted AIDS.  Although, she would not die of the disease, but would be killed by one of Daredevil's most lethal foes, Bullseye.
