| Known Powers | |
| Normal
human with skills as a journalist and photographer. Average hand-to-hand combatant. Elastic Lad: Temporary powers to stretch any part of the body for a finite amount of time, derived from an elastic serum. Elastic Lad was an honorary member of the Legion of Super Heroes. Flamebird I: Normal human equipped with a wide variety of high-tech crime-fighting gear and a jet-powered harness enabling flight. Superman and Jimmy Olsen were disguised as Nightwing and Flamebird, identities similar to Batman and Robin, while attempting to solve a crime in the bottle city of Kandor. Superman had to resort to high-tech crime-fighting gear because like all Kryptonians he is rendered powerless within the bottle city. Turtle Man II: Mutation caused by Atlantian technology designed to cause organisms to grow to great proportions which when discharged at Jimmy Olsen standing behind a common turtle combined his genetic information with the amphibious reptile transforming Olsen into a giant turtle man. Olsen did not consciously cause havoc as Turtle Man, he was being mentally manipulated by the Atlantian criminal GOXO, who invented the growth ray. Note: Elastic Lad, Flamebird I and Turtle Man II may not exist in current continuity due to the events of the Crisis on Infinite Earths. |
