Gordon first came to
Gotham
City as a police captain from Chicago.
He soon learned that the corruption of city politics in Chicago was
nothing compared to Gotham City. His first year on the Gotham police force was also the first year a certain winged vigilante was beginning to strike terror into the hearts of Gotham's criminals. At first Gordon was wary of the Batman, but in time he grew to trust and then rely upon the Dark Night Detective. Gordon has in time experienced both victory and defeat, parallel to his ally. He has lost both friends and family to the criminals of Gotham, but stands as one of it's greatest public servant, Commissioner Gordon. |
